The B&B La Gerla is a typical country house of the 18th century, it is surrounded by nature in a peaceful environment. We are 10 minutes from the center of Verona and 10 minutes from Lake of Garda and we are ideally situated both for business trips and for holidays (you can find the ways leading to the city, the trade fair, the lake and Valpolicella only a few kilometres away).

The B&B La Gerla has two double rooms and a single room. All rooms have private bathroom and toilet, tv and wireless internet connection. They have wooden beams and parquet and they are tastefully furnished and decorated.

The house has been recently renovated combining its antique charm with a contemporary style. The outside offers a nice garden where breakfast is served in spring and summer. Near the house there is a porch and another garden where you can relax. A parking area is available for our guests.

The double room “Country” is romantic and bright; it is furnished in Provençal and country style. Its bathroom has a double washbasin and a shower.

Things to see

Verona

La Gerla is ony a few kilometers from the centre of Verona (you can get there by ATV bus lines 63-62-64), so you can easily reach the trade fair, too. Besides the interesting monuments you can visit (such as The Arena, the Roman Theatre, The Duomo, The Basilica of San Zeno, The Church of San Fermo, Piazza Bra and Piazza Erbe) our cultural offer includes:

Verona - Ponte Pietra

Lake Garda

We are very close to Lake Garda. Lazise is about 10 km away and along the coastal road you can visit some lovely villages (Bardolino, Garda, Torri, Brenzone, Malcesine and Torbole as far as Riva). The coast offers Mediterranean views to the south, on the Riviera degli Olivi, a wild landscape with cliffs to the north. There are a lot of things to see and to do:

By car

Leave the motorway A4 at Verona Nord, go round half of the roundabout and take the exit towards Valpolicella/Bussolengo, after about 3 km get out at Verona Croce Bianca 6. At the stop signal make a u-turn to the right into the parallel road leading to Località Ca’ di Mezzo and go straight on for about 500 metres. Before the underpass turn left towards Località Madonnina. You have arrived.

By plane

From the airport Catullo Villafranca take the west ring road towards Verona/Trento and go straight on for about 3 km. Go past the toll gate Verona Nord, that is on your left, and keep on for other 3 km; get out at Verona Croce Bianca 6. At the stop signal make a u-turn to the right into the parallel road leading to Località Ca’ di Mezzo and go straight on for about 500 metres. Before the underpass turn left towards Località Madonnina. You have arrived.

By train

If you come from the railway station Porta Nuova or you are in the centre of Verona, take the ring road T4-T9 towards Brescia/Trento and continue for about 5 km then take the exit SS11-SS12 towards Brescia/Trento, after about 3 km get out at Verona Croce Bianca 6. At the stop signal make a u-turn to the right into the parallel road leading to Località Ca’ di Mezzo and go straight on for about 500 metres. Before the underpass turn left towards Località Madonnina. You have arrived.
